Playing with my Petcock

Post by BigDaddy SnakeOiler »

I hooked up the fuel line today. Why does the fuel exit the tank on the opposite side as the engine? This was a problem when I first got the bike with a kink in the line.
It would seem way simpler if it could be reversed. Is this possible?

You can turn it with your hand if you wanted to, but then where the rod connects that turns your gas to open or reserve would be pointing the other way.

You could get some brake line and bend it the way you want it, flare both ends so you get a good seal inside the hose. Then use a small piece of hose and 2 clamps and butt it right up to outlet and clamp it down.
