Great ride on the 50

Post by Clydeo »

It had been a while since I had taken my daughters Buddy 50 for a ride, so I took it for a short (40 mile) loop through the country. Everything was perfect: the sun, the breeze, the 70+ degree temp. Even the traffic was light. The bike ran perfectly, as well, purring along at 45 mph on the level roads (up to 55 on a couple of down hills. GPS speed, not BMPH). A great day to be on the road. I enjoy my Suuki, but few things in life are as stupid fun as blasting down the road WTO, leaning into the curves, driving like a GP racer, all at speeds that won't get me a ticket!

THAT brings a smile to my face; maybe because I was doing the same thing today on the Steampunk RH50 :)
Speed is only a matter of money...How fast do you want to go?

Buddy ride

It IS easy to grind the center stand; I like to play racer and hang off the bike. I am sure that I look totally ridiculous, but I have reached that wonderful point in life where I just don't care! I am having fun.
