Need a piece of trim

Post by Nettar »

I no longer have a Genuine dealer nearby and need a piece of trim (the chrome piece at the end of the handle grip). Stupid, I know, but I'd like to replace it. Does anyone know of an online source with a detailed parts listing? Thanks.

Is the part you are looking for on this schematic?

BikeMaster Foam Road Grips

They're not OEM, but they're very similar in appearance. Just check the length before ordering. Big plus is that the shiny bits are aluminum instead of chromed plastic.
At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...

Seriously...I've lost count...

Seven mopeds ...that's still manageable...

Thanks for your help!

Alas, the part required was not on the schematic and the Bike Master product will not do the job. I'll keep looking.

ScooterWest is a major on-line and mail order dealer, as well as a Genuine dealer. I'd suggest you call them and see if they can obtain the part for you.

You'll have to order new grips, the end caps aren't available separately.
