Won't start

Post by Theodlucas »

2012 Stella 4s battery was dead so I filled it with water. Still dead. So I put a trickle charger on it until the charger light stayed green. Still dead. When I try to start it, it clicks like a dead car battery sound. It starts fine with the kick starter. What's up?

Sounds like time for a new battery.

Yep... a 2012 stock battery? 5 years old? Youre lucky to get 3 years out of a battery.

Some people take their batteries to a battery place and get them to pour out the old acid, and put new acid in.
That may buy you a bit more life.

I'll try that next time, thanks. The thing that's bugging me right now is the shifting is getting harder for me bc of a hand injury. Is there way to grease it or somehow make it easier to turn the handle?
