Rack with Backrest

Post by keltick »

Has anyone used the new rear rack with backrest? I'm curious if it is at all useful.

Hmm... lean back too much and you risk busting the mounting points on the bike.

Seems like that would be a lot of force to break the mounts. I'd imagine the uprights would give first.

I wonder if it would be cramped with it installed.

Can't imagine it would be too much different than a topcase with a backrest. Of course, a Buddy seat is fairly small for two-up riding, backrest or no backrest.

Yeah the backrest is too far back or one person, and too close for two. But hey, it probably looks cool.
