Stella Auto Oil Leak from Valve?

Post by Die_anne_nah »

I have a 2014 new Stella Auto still in the engine break in stage.
Performed first oil change at 150 miles to Amsoil 10w-40 synthetic.
After two days the ECS light started flashing indicating engine temp.
Removed cowls and a brownish substance (maybe oil?) has leaked all over the engine.
What is going on? help? Ideas?

That might just be the oil that is coating the engine from shipping. Should come off pretty easily with your favorite engine cleaner/degreaser.

Of it does NOT come off easily with just a plain rag,
Then it IS Cosmoline. A protective coating for shipping just like Yalzin said.
Good luck

Root issue just a faulty ECS sensor. No leak just engine coating as mentioned in previous comments.
