Aftermarket Brake Levers for a buddy?

I see a few old posts. Anyone replaced any buddy levers with aftermarket?

Wouldn't even mind some of the CNC (Fake CNC?) or folding ones on ebay I think.

I replaced the levers on my Vespa GT200 with something similar to those. Most modern Vespa levers are way out there, and a stretch to reach. I like the shorter reach on the Ebay levers, but after having them on for a year I think they look pretty cheesy. What's bothering you about your Buddy's levers?

They're not all that universal. The key considerations are going to be:

The shape of the actuating end of the front lever, e.g. does it have the proper tab for the brake light switch? Is the lobe for the master cylinder piston the right length/shape? Is the pivot bolt hole the right sixe and in the correct location?

That the rear lever has been designed to work a cable clutch and can accept your rear brake cable. Being designed for a clutch, it may not have a tab for the brake light switch unless it was designed for a bike with a clutch safety switch. Again, the position of the pivot bolt hole matters.

I'd recommend pulling your levers, taking pictures, taking some measurements and noting features like switch operating tabs. You'll need that data to find a lever that will fit.
