VSP brake light modulator installation problem

Post by eliu01 »

Hello everyone:

I bought a VSP brake light modulator for my 2015 Buddy 125, but it turns out my brake light has a 2-pin connector, while the modulator came with 3-pin connectors. Anyone else run into this issue? You can see the connector on my scooter here:

I sent VSP a PM but haven't heard back yet. Wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I can make this work, or if I should get a two-wire modulator instead.

Thanks!

(bump)

Has anyone been in touch with Ethan from Voodoo Scooter Parts lately? He hasn't responded to my PM, and he hasn't posted anywhere since this past May.

Thanks!

I was out of town from the 27th till last night. I just missed the message you sent on the 28th.
Please check your PM's :)

If anyone is curious, I found the three-pin connector tucked way up on the left side. All is good now. Thanks again to Ethan @ VSP for the advice!
