Hi everyone.
Awesome website.
Long time Lurker.
Roommate has a few buddys so I just bought one used.
2009 Buddy 50. 5,000 milesish.
I've searched and searched and read the FAQ's but am at an impasse.
Had a new plug and the carb serviced just maybe 30 miles ago and ran fine.
Gas is fresh.
That little thing above the license plate holder like a Check Valve? Was also replaced.
Battery is new and charged fully.
Last few times if it didn't start immediately (1st try) and let off the starter button before it would start then it wouldn't start at all and felt like it was flooded. Next day would start right back up.
OCCASionally it would fell a teeny bit bogged down right at about 30 mph but then would pull through.
Now today it stopped running after a 1 mile ride.
Got it to start with a combination of airbox cover off/ Carb Clean spray into the carb and full throttle open while cranking.
Would start when on center stand and idle. Would also rev and spin rear tire.
The second it came off the stand it wouldnt rev anymore and would even kill the motor at idle.
Putting the air cover on while on stand would also kill motor.
I can probably check the plug myself but am getting close to my mechanical limitations!!
ANY help or guidance would be super-duper appreciated in advance!
Thank you!!!

I appreciate the replies!
So I finally got the front spark plug cover off and checked plug it seemed fine. The last mechanic said he put in a hotter plug. It was an NGK and had the number 6 in it instead of the 7 that should be in.
Got the seat off also and am trying to get familiar with the carbs and lines. I found the idle adjustment.
Couldn't find which was the air/fuel screw.
I found the service manual online but it doesn't really have a diagram.
Any pointers on where to look?
Should I maybe get one of the 20.00 carbs on amazon rather than troubleshoot this one?
