Looks like you are on the right track. Essentially the Stella and the Buddy have nothing mechanical in common. Different designs, different manufacturers, different heritage. Many PX parts do interchange with the 2T Stella.

I would suggest buying parts from a reputable dealer instead of ebay especially for something as important as brakes. There are a lot of very inferior parts on there.

maybe if you can get the mater.cylinder and the hose and the caliper..
You may be able to retro fit the caliper on the stella.. worth a look see.
