NBR Lance Cabo 125

Post by cummingsjc »

Does anyone on this forum have any real exposure to a Lance Cabo 125? I have been considering a used one and wanted to see if anyone has feedback on the reliability and ride-ability of these scoots. I like the more rugged/sporty look in my scoots than the Buddy 125 (I recently asked Genuine on Facebook if they had ever considered making a Roughhouse 125 and they said "Yes, they had considered it and agreed with me that it would be a great bike, but no, they weren't going to make it at this time".).

It depends what year it was made. In the early 2000s it was a cheap Chinascoot. Sometime later, SYM took control, and quality improved greatly. Yes it is made in mainland China, but I think it's made in SYM's Chinese plant.

I rode a Cabo for 4 days when I crashed my Stella. Nothing but good times.

It is a later model Cabo so it should be mechanically sound. I have not had the opportunity to test ride it yet.
