What to Do with Wrecked Hooligan

Post by BigShark »

I have a 2016 Hooligan that I got in a wreck with last month. I believe the neck of the frame is bent, so I am not hopeful it can be repaired. I did not have full coverage on the bike, so I have to either try and fix it, or part it out. Does anyone have experience with this dilemma and what did you do? It starts up perfectly and runs great, so I think there is some value there, but don't know what to do next.

Part it out. The biggest "part" is the motor. Someone will want/need that. Advertise it in the "For Sale / Wanted" section on this site, for starters. Be sure to mention "Austin" in your ad. It helps to know where a part/bike is.

P.S. Sorry for your misfortune. Hope something good will come of this.

Can you post pictures of the bike? sideways profile, and head on with bars straight? Maybe it's just the forks that are bent vs the frame tube?
