My first reaction had to do with lipstick and pigs but on second consideration; hey, it's yours, do whatever you want.

No title no motor looks like a parts bike to me...at best

Some states will allow registration with just a bill of sale on vintage units. Others, you'd have to get a bonded title. But yeah, probably better as a parts bike unless you REALLY want to see a project through to completion.

How could you bolt up a GY6 in a vintage frame?

I like the smell of 2 stroke oil in the morning the same as the next guy, but here's an interesting "engine" swap.

Well, basically you couldn't - at least not easily. Anything can be done, I suppose, but it would mean substantial modifications to the body to incorporate the GY6 mounts. I can't see why it would be worth the trouble.

That's from the first Cannonball. That's Dr. FrankenHeyten's handiwork. He told me he made the subframe out of bookcase angle iron. Now if Chopper (pictured) could have gotten the electricals and fuel system sorted...

P.S. I know that's a Lammy, not a Vespa, but it shows that crazy things can be done.

P.P.S. I never noticed it before, but you can see my scooter just over the top of the VW on the left. Ha! Who knew?

2004 GT200L from the first batch to be brought into the United States. Piaggio made a 2003 model and sold it in the EU, but we didn't get them until 2004.

Ahh, the traditional Lambretta rider position. A rare sight these days, but common one at scooter rally's across the country in the early 2000's.

All I can say it, when it was running, it tracked true, which was a testimony to Dr. FrankenHeytens amazing fabrication skills.

In reality you can do what ever you want as long as you have the skill or the coin!. Usually it takes some of both!

Thing is if I was doing that much work I wouldn't be putting that motor into it. Turn it into a Cannonball bike!

Yes, we'd like to see it. Please hit the CapsLOCK key first, we're running low on capital letters.

Ive seen it. You have to cut most of the support for the pet carrier off. Cut it off or in half or lower the bike. Because the valve cover hits. The guy told me he had a friend do some machine work to make the wheel work.
161cc big bore kit, NCY big valve head Hand ported, NCY transmission kit, jetted and tuned. I can port your cylinder head.
