Outdoor Covers opinion

Post by magnetb0y »

I have two roughhouse 50s that because of room stay outdoors.
I've had varied results with outdoor covers for them. I've tried cheaps and
middle of the road. I am considering investing in one over the $50 mark but
am not sold on Prima or any brand ain particular. Does anyone have any input on a quality scooter cover that I will be happy with, I would gladly trade
brand name money for more quality canvas type etc.... Let me know.

The scoots are outside in the sun and rain I guess?

Or are they outside under a porch or something?

If I stored a scooter year-round outdoors in Florida, I'd make my own cover (or get a friend involved who has a heavy duty sewing machine). Fabrics made for boat covers are made from very durable UV resistant fabrics and last for years. Sunbrella is one of the commonest brands of this acrylic awning fabric. Great stuff and worth the price.
