Fishing Rod Holder

Post by tommy808 »

Bought a BlackTip Rod Holder polypropylene mount for $8.29 from West Marine. Good for cruising around looking for the perfect spot for Shore fishing.

That's a great idea!

I use a telescopic/collapsible rod that fits in the pet compartment.

Thank you. That was my first post, lol. I used to post on modernvespa about a decade ago when an LX 150 was my daily driver. My cage died so I got a Buddy 50. At the dealer here, you can’t get a 125, only a 170i or a 50, with an occasional Kick every six months.

Anyway, I wanted a mount, and saw online a lot of PVC DIY rigs I didn’t like the looks of and I thought “West Marine right away, so went over there and picked it up. Only had to drill one small hole in the bottom panel.

A telescopic would work too, the way you do, but none of my rods right now are more than two-piece.

fishing rod holder for Buddy 50

Post by Jasar13 »

I recently purchased an All Rite Products Catch and Release Holder off Amazon. It holds my rod securely while scootering around our beach areas.

I cover them with rod socks for more protection.

Just made one of these for myself and it's amazing. Thanks for the idea!
