Any suggestions for replacement carburetors? Not impressed with the OEM carb. :livid:

The stock carburetor is actually quite good if it's kept clean and in tune. I haven't had any major problems with the ones in my Blur or Buddy. One thing for sure, it's much better than the cheap carbs sold on eBay for anywhere between $18-$70. These are the ones with the metal diaphragm cover vs the plastic one as on the stock carb. These cheap carbs don't have an accelerator pump like the stock one does. This pump helps acceleration and cold weather riding. And one has to wonder what you're getting for that cheap a price.
There's hope though. This 24mm carburetor on eBay is just about identical to the OEM but at a much more reasonable price.

What's got you grumpy with the stock carb? A good cleaning, and a new upper diaphragm usually brings these right back to life.
