Buddy 125 stolen in Ballard area of Seattle FOUND!

Post by Tanuki »

My black and red 2006 Buddy 125 was stolen from in front of my house last night in Seattle!

It has a big, white skull and crossed lightning bolts on the front faring and is highly visible. Please e-mail me at rhiashall@gmail.com if you have seen it!

Small headlight version too, which is rare these days. Good thing to be on the lookout for, in case someone rattlecans it.

I had a Buddy stolen right in front of my house last year, even caught it on video. They picked it up and put it in a trunk of a car, never to be seen again.

That sucks, Tanuki. I hope it gets located soon, without damage.

FOUND IT!!

I found my scooter! She has a broken brake handle and won't start at all...but she seems to be mostly intact. I'll call Fritz tomorrow and see if he can fix her. I am incredibly relieved...and who knows, maybe I'll learn to like purple.

They painted it BRIGHT purple! It is ridiculously vivid - this is probably why it was spotted so easily. I guess if they were smart, they wouldn't be stealing scooters in the first place.

I can't decide if I should paint it black again, or just put a Prince symbol on it and call it good.

Glad you got your scoot back but I'd repaint it back to black or some other color because otherwise every time you look at it that color will remind you that you and it got violated.

This all depends. Did they do a good job?

(narrator: He knew they didn't do a good job.)
