Gas leak buddy 125

Post by Franks scoot »

I've read about gas leak on left side but I seem to have a gas leak on right(muffler) side. Thinking maybe from vent line?

Vent line from the carburetor would still leak to the left. Might be that you have a leak in the fuel line from the petcock itself, somewhere up high near the tank. Pretty easy to trace though, take the seat bucket off and follow the fuel line back from the carburetor till you locate the leak.

Looks like it's leaking from evap canister.I still don't have it on the road, but drive it around in a local lot, after 15 minutes or so I stop put on centerstand and it drips out on muffler. Half tank of gas, really weird!https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipP ... FHMGc3bzVR[/img]

This forum is great! Just dug through the tech pages and think it may be non vented gas cap issue, Time to get out the drill!
