Unknown Switch

My Black Cat has a switch that's right above the electric start, can someone tell me what it does?

Maybe On/Off button

It has 3 positions. I've tried all of them and it doesn't seem to do anything.

The pic's right above the switch seem to show lights.

Might be an appendix switch... it used to have a purpose but now in the US it's just there. It's probably a 4-way flasher, parking light, normal operation switch used in overseas applications. I'd have more confidence in that guess with a picture to support it though

It's the headlight switch for non-US models. It does nothing.
