My rattler 110 is way late, and it only gets worse...

Post by huh? »

my friggn' bike is late...put on order Feb. 1. They said it would probably take
2-3 weeks. I
got a call thursday of last week that it would be early this week at the latest.
Called them
today and they have the bike but apparently the seat hinge bracket broke in
shipping. They
have a new guy in the service manager position. He said that when someone
received the
bike they should've noticed it, but they didn't. When they finally went to put
the battery in and
mount the other "stuff" they pulled up the seat and off it came...

so...i went down there today to see what the dealy was. Service manager showed
me and said
he would make the warranty claim and have the part overnighted so they can
repair
it......what the crap....

is it just me or should i expect better...

easy now.... it's worth the wait. It'll just give you more appreciation for it when your new bracket comes in.

I still don't have my bike. They didn't overnight the part. Replacement part was shipped, but ended up being the wrong part...Now I have to wait again for the right one...If you are a dealer...don't do this to your customers...

or order two at a time. This way when you break one... you can take parts from the other one

Don't feel bad, you're not alone... I just went out a bit earlier today, to pick my car up from the bodyshop, after getting the call it was ready. Needed the driver's door panel and exterior door handle replaced. Did my usual inspection/walkaround, and discovered they'd not only installed the driver's door window crank backwards from the other three window cranks on the car, but had somehow bent an external seal on the driver's door, AAAND gouged my front bumper. This means I didn't get my car back, and I have to live with the rental for another few days. Compared to my Toyota Echo, a Chevy Cobalt gulps fuel....
