I am done waiting !

Post by EP_scoot »

OK, so I just called Scooterville to have them get ready the Blur for Saturday.
I have been trying to pick it up for the last three weekeds and everytime by Saturday the weather is awful. This Saturday is supposed to be 38 and no rain/snow until later in the day so it looks pretty good and I CAN'T WAIT anymore ! ! ! !

So hopefully, next week I will have some pics to post of the 20 mile ride home.

For the local guys riding around on Saturday, I will be stylish guy on the '06 Blur with a red 5.0 Corazzo, Carhart overalls and Timberland boots . . . and a smile a mile wide ! :D
Beer is the answer . . . what was the question?

I plan in taking easy on the way home because of that. At night it will be in the 20's so in the morning there will be ice from the thawed areas the day before. Top it off with the salt/sand that is everywhere and I will be in no hurry to get home.

I will take the scenic route and savor that first ride for all its worth ! :D

If I could escort you home on Pinkster, I certainly would; your new Blur deserves the attention. I'll be in town on Saturday and may have to stop by and help see you off. Have fun, better weather and a safe ride!

Hey Coopdway,
I was going to go early, but I noticed this morning the overnight temps will be in the low 20's so I think I will wait until 1100 or 1200. Give the ice a chance to melt, I hope.

Although KARE11 was talking this morning of another snow storm coming in on Thursday and it looks like a big one again.

This winter just won't end. The upswing is that once it DOES end, we will so much more appreciate the good riding weather. :D
