Messing with the idle.....

Post by brimstone »

this is just an assumption...but is the little black knob the idle screw? my rattler several times today died on me when i stop and it bogs down and almost dies most of the other times. it has a little over 100 miles on it. and was wondering if it's worth messing with it.

Black knob is the idle... air adjust ment screw is behind it (little brass job that's hard to see). If you want an easy way to it remove the seat bucket (6 10mm bolts that hols it in and a screw that holds the finder liner to the bottom of the bucket). Look down at the carb and you'll see both adjustments.
