Getting ready to take the plunge

Post by Hugo »

This Thursday I'm planning on travelling up north to the nearest dealer in order to check out the Rattler 110.
It makes me a bit nervous, however, that even the dealer doesn't know too much about the vehicle. He sold only one and has a 2007 in stock ($2700 out the door).
I have absolutely no local testimonials for this scooter. After owning a Honda and a Piaggio, I feel a little left in dark with regards to Genuine products around here.

I appreciate the gesture. Hopefully, genuine will explore dealers in Massachusetts. The streets of Cambridge and Boston are loaded with motor scooters in the spring and summer.

I hope that the dealer lets me take it for a test ride. The most important thing for me is comfort. I have a 26'' inseam, so seat hight will play a big factor. My Typhoon is a bit high for me, but the Ruckus is perfect. Of course, I could start wearing platform shoes  .

You won't regret it, and you've got one of the best small company's backing it...Genuine Scooter Co. Real people, real good products. I bought the first one MY dealer ever put out...it's always going to be a low-volume, not for everybody scooter! To me, thats part of the attraction!

Have fun with whatever you get!
