Which Givi top case?

Post by BuddyRaton »

After hearing what some of the people had to say about the Genuine top cases, and since they don't make on in cream, I'm planning on getting a Givi matte black and mounting it on a black rack. I do want to get a brake light kit with it and a backrest. Looking on the web brings a lot of choices and I don't know which one will look best and work best. I don't want to look like I'm hauling a steamer trunk around all the time but I would like enough space for it to be useful! So should it be the E30, E33? E??? or any other one? Any pics of ones mounted greatly appreciated!

Yep, I went and checked out the Buddy trunks today and was extremely (bad Buddy) unimpressed. I'm going to go the Givi route but don't know which one.

What I'm going to do -- and you may want to consider -- is have whatever one I pick painted to match my Buddy. I figure they're small so it shouldn't be a huge expense.

The chrome racks, on the other hand, are pretty sweet.

I wasn't sure how the chrome rack would look with a black seat and floorboards. I may have to check it out. I was thinking of getting one painted also. Just have to find the color specs!

I have the Givi e30 trunk with the brake light kit. I ordered it from www.twistedthrottle.com. I had them installed on my Vino 125 before. Bob and Ed at Scooterville told me that both will work on the Buddy. I'll let you know (and perhaps post pics) after I get them installed, hopefully tomorrow. :)

That's the case I ordered too. Where did you find a chrome rear rack?

surfside Scooters in Lake Park FL. They are holding it for me until Tuesday, so I'm going on Saturday first thing.
