Anyone tried the windshield on their rattler?

Post by basilhayden »

I got a smoke one through scooterworks (on backorder though), hoping that it will help a little with the wind at higher speeds.

let me know how it goes and post up some pics. i was pondering the idea of picking one up later this summer. i like to hunch down at higher speeds on the short highway trips i make. they're only about 1/2 a mile or so. helps keep my speed up and not annoy the people stuck behind me.

I can't even find a windshield on their website. Where is it? I'll admit, I am not the biggest fan of windshields... but they are effective on smaller bikes etc that need all the aerodynamics they can get. I've been considering the Puig 991, just can't sink the $100 to do it :? I'm going to do rollers and jetting first. Then maybe, just maybe the 991.

Maybe that's why they don't have them? The Puig is $100 :!:

I called scooterworks

Post by basilhayden »

I called scooterworks the other day to ask if they could give me any idea about when they would have them in. The girl I talked to said that when they place that type of order, it may take a month for me to get it. But, she told me that it probably wouldn't take that long. Who knows, I'll just be glad to get it.
