What else is in your garage?
Ok... what other fun or interesting items share garage space with your scooter?
ATV? Snowmobile? Boat? Old car? Motorcycle? Refrigerator full of road kill?
I think what a person has in their garage says a lot about them.
I am asking... so it's not bragging... lets hear it.

Porsche made about 2,100 912Es' in it's first and only year of production and was hugely...unpopular, especially in England.
The 924 (which was originally designed for Audi, whom backed out of the deal at the last minute) was due to be released in 1975, but production delays caused, well, a delay. So, management sat around drinking beer and eating bratwurst brainstorming on what entry level car they could offer since the 914 (that was originally designed for VW and was sold as such in Europe) had already been discontinued. Then somebody looked in the warehouse and said "Optuneleba (or something like that), ve got all dis two lita 914 engines vith no car to into put, vi not put dem in a 911 chassis vith small vheels and small brakes, cheap interior un call it a 912E?" (the accent is mine...) So that's how the 912E came to be - a somewhat heavy sports car with an underpowered 2-liter engine. Still, it's fun to drive and handles like a go-kart plus most of the parts from a 911 will fit - including any of the early aircooled flat-sixes.

Few people in SoCal actually store their vehicles in their garage. Certainly not their cars! My garage is due to be renovated into an office/outdoor living space/possible extra guest room sometime in the next year or so. We have ambitions for this, when actually we'll probably only get half of what we want because it's just a one-car garage with a little extra space on one side.
Meanwhile it is full of junk:
Ikea furniture bought when we moved to L.A. from TX 8 years ago because the movers destroyed or stole most of our stuff.
Hundreds of books, in boxes, awaiting a home in the renovated garage. (Forgot to add library/media room to the renovation list.)
About 1200 CDs which have been burned to a hard drive but which I'm hesitant to sell because, well, drives crash.
Spiders.
Christmas decorations, china and a lot of stuff we don't have room for in the house. (Oh yeah, need to add "storage area" to renovation list. Maybe we should build a second story on the garage... or put up a prefab building next to it... or win the lottery and buy a bigger house... oof...)

Wow, 13 INCHES! You must be cousin's with Stuart Little !ScootLemmond wrote:13" FJ Sailboat (yeah, I am a rag picker in the summer)
Just kidding. I am also thinking adding a Hobbie Bravo to my garage "up North". Fun enough to putz around and teach the kids how to sail.
Otherways, my in-town garage has:
scooter
minivan
car
a gazillion kid's toys
2 wheel barrows
2 lawn mowers
lots of gardening stuff
more kids stuff
4 bikes
assorted snow tubes/sleds
work bench . . . full of kids stuff
freezer
shelving and closets to try to keep it all in check
etc, etc, etc
Beer is the answer . . . what was the question?

Let's see, on most days you will find a couple of Audi A-8's, an R-8 and an RS-4 along with a Porsche Turbo S, a Maybach 57 and handfuls of small Benzes and 3-series BMW's. There are also a bunch of scooters, Ducati 1098, at least four big Harleys and a couple of BMW motorcycles. The Porsche Turbo S belongs to a pretty well know Denver sports figure.
Of course, none of the above belong to me, I "share" a huge underground garage in downtown Denver. My parking slot features the Buddy, a Ducati GT-1000 and an Acura TSX.
I'm currently trying to figure out if I can squeeze in one more motorcycle without becoming too annoying to my neighbors. Right now, the odds look slim.

Like those in Southern California, few homes in Arizona have basements/cellars, so the garage is everyone's big closet.
Which means in my garage, I have: Clothes that I won't ever wear again but will never throw away; Exercise equipment that I won't ever use again (ok, ok, never used) but don't want to donate; Painting supplies, paint and caulking that I know is dried out and useless but I'm too lazy to pull out of the corner to check; and the best scoot on the block.

Ok here it is.....
2 Mini Cooper S
1 GT 200
1 GTS250
2 ET4
2 Rattler 110
1 buddy 125
1 tandem bicycle
3 restored Schwinn
1 Electra Bicycle
Big tool box
Christmas Decorations
Halloween Decorations
1 general all purpose work bench
1 scooter work bench
A freezer filled with helmets and boots
A coat rack for our 5 Corrazzo jackets
And additional shelves for all our other stuff.
We are working on selling the Et4's to make room for a MP3. I guess one of the cars will be booted out on the driveway with the truck and kids cars if they don't sell first.
My husband is a good organizer and fits it all in oddly he doesn't like puzzles but to me this is a real life puzzle.

Yes, that is my scooter.
Yes, I wear a helmet and a FIRSTGEAR armored jacket.
No, I'm not embarrassed to be seen riding it.
Yes, that is an NRA sticker on the fender.

If I had a garage, I would park my:
1994 Ford Escort LX station wagon, white, so she is named ECTO-1
2003 Electra Townie 3r, pink, called Persephone because I recovered her from the ghetto after she got stolen
c. 1965 Schwinn Breeze, blue, called Smurfette.
For now, ECTO-1 sleeps in the street and the bikes live in my building's basement. Pinky rents garage space from my landlord, and my tools etc live in my apartment's utility cupboard.
