I was super duper impressed with myself, when I managed to get a patio umbrella that I ordered and had shipped to my work home on my scooter. I tied one end to the side of my back basket, looped the rope around the other end very snug and then tucked the loose end under the seat. Voila! I got some funny looks, as I was flying along home. :D I'm so MacGyver!

I also managed to carry a small carpet cleaner home in my back basket, with the help of my bungee net.

Some of these stories are great. I wish we had pictures!

Not the biggest "thing" but yesterday I carried the biggest "insect" ever on my scooter: The Eastern Hercules Beetle. (not my pic, but the one I found was the same size). I took the big guy home in the seatbox.

I guess that's why they call it the "pet carrier".

HA! Now-a-days that's like two bags! (Just joking)....BTW....where'd you get that cargo net? That looks like it would work much better than bungee cords for some things. Is it made just for cycles or scoots?

I seriously must start taking photos of my cargo hauling adventures. Tonight I managed to carry an Ikea Lack coffee table home on my scoot. As I was finishing up tying it down, a guy pulled up on his motorcycle. His eyes got big, and then he smiled and said he admired my ingenuity.

Besides groceries, 12-pack of beer, the standard stuff, I was able to get a new 18-gallon recycling bin home on the back, and yesterday I strapped two collapsible camping chairs onto the back basket and went to a concert in the park. With enough bungee cords, anything is possible!

Man you are set! A Buddy and the old model Xb. Who needs gas! Do you know that is supposed to be the most environmentally friendly car that was sold in the US? It even blows away the hybrids. Good choices in vehicles.

Wow I am impressed! I thought I was doing good getting one of those large economy packs of Bounty paper towels wedged in between the seet and the steering column.

The biggest thing I have carried is a set of golf clubs on my back and a cooler at my feet. I've asked the golf pro if I can use the buddy as my golf cart but he won't let me.

That would be a cool event for a ghymkhana - how much junk can you carry on the scoot.

Have a pile of stuff and load it up and ride to the finish line. :D

i have carried: me, my girlfriend, my dog (in a bag, strapped to my front), and a carpet cleaner in the footwell.
...we didn't make it very far. i think the carpet cleaner messed up my balance too much and i kept veering to the side of the road. so the carpet cleaner had to be wheeled back to safeway on foot. oh well.

OH rigged up a milk crate to the rear rack and I exchanged a propane tank for the grill Saturday morning. I also did a spot of shopping and bungee netted the bag to the front rack.
Yes, it's fast. No, you can't ride it.

No pics, but I'll have OH set it up again and I'll take pics for visual reference.

The tank went into the milk crate. It fit perfectly without any 'give' so I wasn't too terribly frightened. and it was great advertising because as I was loading up the new tank at the store, I was stopped by a couple asking all kinds of questions...

I had to strap an empty keg on my back this weekend. I took some rope and tied it on. I got quite a few honks on the way to my friends place.
