Scooter Works to the rescue for Rattler parts!!!

Post by Hugo »

After being finally fed up with waiting to hear from my dealer, I decided to give Scooter Works a shot. I spoke with a knowledgable guy named Jason.
Jason informed me that Scooter Works would be able to handle all of my Rattler part replacement needs rather than having to hound a dealer  .

Here's what I ordered:

Roughhouse front panel (green) - $59.95
Both Roughhouse side panels (green) - $28.00 each
Roughhouse rear cover (green) - $29.00
All four "Buck-Ten" decals - $37.84 (I threw in a few extra Genuine front oval decals just to have).

Total: only $182.79 :D .

That's quite a reasonable total considering just the front panel alone for my Piaggio Typhoon cost me $240.00 :bleh: !!!

So now I'll finally be able to have my GREEN Rattler 110 8) !!!

I just saw a green roughhouse leaving my dealers parking lot today, i like the color a lot. It's nice to hear that panels are relatively cheap.
You should have stuck with the 50 "sleeper" stickers

I was told 8+ week wait for a rattler today.

Are Rattler parts interchangeable with the Black Cat parts?? I am looking for accessories for a Black Cat.

Hey... if it's not to much trouble, can you take some pics as you take off the old panels & put on the new ones?
A before and after would be great as well
Thanks!

I certainly will. I'm not expecting the parts until mid-week. I'm not sure as to exactly when I'll change them out, for I have many summer weekend obligations coming up. I'll post the process after It's done :D .

Do you know if they can supply the 'Carbon' color that is offered on the PGO PMX Naked? It's the sweetest stock look I've seen on it, other than one sweet custom job posted on the yahoo forum, I like it best.

Give them a call. I doubt, however, that they will carry parts that are not on the Genuine labeled vehicle. You might have to hunt down a actual PGO distributor.

You might try a PGO canada dealer
http://www.pgoscooters.ca/
no one sells "PGO" in the US right?
