so when i was changing my oil, i noticed a suspiciously empty threaded hole, roughly the same size as the drain plug, on the side of the engine, about an inch behind the drain plug... i tried to figure out what it was from the service manual, but haven't deciphered it as of yet... anybody help? nothing noticeable in terms of performance...

my bad, there are two, one infront of the drain plug on the side, and one just about even with it...

Definitely the wheelie bar.

I'm guessing they are for some sort of accessory. All my buddies on the floor have the same holes. I wouldn't be concerned.

The Blur has the same holes. They are used for the swingarm bracket. The Blur has 2 holes on each side though.
