I skipped tonights. I had to get home and mow, and I'm broke.

But next week for sure.

And like I said elsewhere, I'd love if some of us could organize a weekend ride maybe to lunch somewehre to hang, talk scoots, etc.

Didn't make it tonight, but went a couple of weeks ago. Seems to be a great way to meet folks and a good excuse to ride my new baby.

Sorry I missed you, Rob. I still need to return your Crampbuster -- since I now have one of my own!

Bump.

Here's a friendly reminder that just because the Tulsa World is not going to be there, it doesn't mean that the ride this Thursday is going to be any less fun. Heck, I'd bet it will be even more fun since there will most likely (and hopefully) not be a crazy lunatic tagging along. :D

Hope to see some of you for the ride this week, Thursday 26th (June)!

If Tulsa Scooters can get the Budd running by then...

ECS
Yes, that is my scooter.
Yes, I wear a helmet and a FIRSTGEAR armored jacket.
No, I'm not embarrassed to be seen riding it.
Yes, that is an NRA sticker on the fender.

I did not make tonights ride and it saddens me.

I left work early to do some external stuff for work and for the family and by the time I got home I was overheated, melting, and not very energetic.

I showered, got new clothes on, and then had time to get tehre by six but I collapsed on the couch instead.

My dog and cat thank you for letting me stay home with them.

Anyone in the area who wants to ride, meet for lunch or dinner etc please lt me know. I am all about that.

ams -- you missed a fun one, but I'm sure your animals appreciate having you home with them.

We went west on 21st, took S.W. Blvd south, wound around to 71st and up the hill past Oaks C.C. Through some pretty countryside, and finally into Sapulpa, where we had dinner at Al's Route 66 Diner. Great burgers and chicken fried steak. Then back east through Bowden, and rode along a bit of the original Route 66 two-lane blacktop. Some of the ride had overhanging elms, towering mimosas -- and gorgeous honeysuckle hedges. A few folks peeled off on their own routes home as we headed back into town. It was a great evening for riding.

We'll look for you next week.

See, I knew I should suck it up and just go.

But honestly, I needed the down time. The heat today sapped me dry.

Maybe we can organize a weekend ride for lunch or something for the tulsa area peeps.

Stator went out again. This time I may have caused it by putting in a non-spec battery. (Hey! No place else was open, and it was all I could find!) I picked it up Wednesday night and rode to work today, but I was on grill duty at the house. I've already informed the wife that I'm going on the ride next Thursday.

Well, you COULD get her a scooter of her own, and she could join us! :)

Let me check with my Sunday schedule. I am supposed to help the folks with some moving boxes on Saturday but should be free Sunday.

I've raised the issue. Not gonna happen. The formerly mine PT Cruiser is small enough for her until I can get her the Nissan 350ZX she really thinks I'm going to buy for her.

Well, my foot tasted real good with the pork chops I grilled and the crab pasta salad I made tonight. Maybe next week.

Don't laugh! How do you think I've been married 34 years? My good looks? Well, that and other qualities.

We did a slow ride through some of the high $$ neighborhoods in mid-town. LOTS of practice with turns, which was fun. We had plenty of time to rubberneck at the houses and landscaping. The weather was perfect, as there was just a touch of cloud moving in and the breeze was soft.

We ended up at Utica Square, where folks split up to eat at different locations. UtSq has music on Thursdays, but tonight's was just so-so. Oldies cover band that could have used a couple more members for a fuller sound. Good evening, though!
