Windshields anyone?

Here's the latest project with Bucky:

It's nice being behind the windshield, but it sucks at least 8 mph out of the top speed...acceleration isn't as good either.

Going to cut it down quite a bit which means I'm redoing the posts from underneath the mirrors to the center bar mount.

Anyone else have a pic of their windshield on a Rattler? Does it affect mpg or top speed?

When done right the windshield should help top speed. I have a universal 16"x16" windshield coming. I am going to make some mounts to get it way lower than that. My idea is to have the top at the same height as the top of my helmet when I am tucked. Otherwise its just unneeded drag. It would do you ALOT of good to lower it, trim it, and lean it back a few degrees.
