First Solo Ride!!

Post by dahuffy »

Just had to let everybody know that I took my FIRST SOLO RIDE on my pink Buddy this evening  I started out just kinda "walking" it down the drive, then slowly riding/walking around the yard. After about 15 minutes,I built up the guts to actually take it in the street. What a HOOT! Some of my neighbors even came out to see. I think I'm really going to like my new toy :D

Enjoy it, but be careful. 125cc is certainly more than a toy! Hummer drivers would realize that if they took a motorcycle drivers course.

In the Club

Bought my orange buddy (ok ok sunset?!) and rode it home, with a friend following in a car, close behind. It was killer. We had mapped out a route that went first through suburban streets, which gave me a chance to get the feel of the machine, then country roads with little or no traffic. Made it home safely, but did not want to stop!!

Incredible handling, really exciting ride! I may never drive my car again (except in the rain).

First Ride

Post by Tamari »

yes, congrats, Pam! I just test rode (drove?) one for the first time. the local dealer just got a batch in yestereday, and I couldn't wait to check it out, especially because I had put a deposit down and gotten on the waiting list. Now, I test rode it, LOVED IT (it is so quick for a small scooter, and it handles really well) , and my black one is ready for the taking. I have to wait till after the 4th to pick it up, and, oh, how the next 3-4 days are going to seem like 3-4 weeks.
