I give you...Bonheur! (pictures)
Isn't she lovely?
Robbie (the mechanic) is still putting her together.
Such a cute face. That front rack? I didn't want one. They accidentally installed one. I got it for FREE!
GAWD! The wait is killing me! The bolts in the kit were missing so Robbie had to run to Home Depot (way far away) to get new ones. Which was okay because the kit bolts are black and the new bolts are chrome.
Our first HUG!
No, I am NOT Captain Morgan...just deliriously HAPPY! Itching to take off!
Geared up and READY TO RIDE!
This was actually my second ride of the day - went to show Bonheur to my SIL. *I* had the camera with me on the way home from VespaFW.
One the move! I love my Bonheur!
I plan on taking her to work on National Ride to Work Day next week. I need to get used to her quirks (weight, brakes, throttle, etc) before I will dare to ride that far. Will be practicing ALL weekend!
Thanks to everyone again for all the great advice and support. This is a GREAT forum board! YAY!
I will make sure to get more pics from the weekend for you on Monday!

Congrads !!!!!!!!!!!! Your color match is awesome. Love the jacket, what a perfect match. Looks great and the smile you are wearing tells the total story. Enjoy the journey and ride safe. Great Pics.

Robbie said that one was next on his list. It was a Vespa PX200 I think...in scorpion silver? I remember glancing at the box label, but not really reading it, KWIM?illnoise wrote:look how thrashed that Vespa crate is behind her... that can't be good.
The box was actually in decent condition relevant to the amount of space he had to work in and the mounds of unpacked accessory boxes stacked up all around him. He has a tiny garage to work in and only one area for make ready.
And YES! Bonheur was well worth the wait...OHs office keeps summer hours, so OH asked to take a spin while I'm stuck here at work...*sigh* I could be scootering.

HJC half helmet with daisy decals and a First Gear Women's Contour Mesh armored jacket. Got the helmet and jacket at the MC shop where we got our cruiser. I've seen the jacket on newenough.com though.beagldog wrote:Prettttty! Love your riding gear. What kind of helmet and jacket is that. You're as dressed up as Bonheur!

beautiful
If driving a Hummer says "my penis is small",
.......then what does riding a scooter say?
I'd rather be riding my motorcycle thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my motorcycle.....

Maude Lebowski: What do you do for recreation?

But it leads one to think...how handy (no pun intended) would it be to HAVE such a handle for the passenger? I know on the back of a MC, it's not so hard to ride, but OH took me on the back of Bonheur and I realized how unwieldy it was getting on and off without footpegs and nothing to grab onto for balance.
This might be something worth fiddling with.
