San Diego: Ride to Work Day July 16th Then Ride To Scootz

Post by pcbikedude »

After riding to work on your scooter, join The San Diego Scooter Fanatics and Friends Meetup Group at Scootz. San Diego's ONLY scooter themed restaurant.

What:
17th Annual "Ride to Work" Day

When:
July 16, 2008 6:00 PM

Where:
Scootz
9535 Mission Gorge Rd
Santee, CA 92107

Meetup Description:

Hey... Did you know it is 'Ride to work Day'?
http://www.ridetowork.org

Ride your scooter to work today to demonstrate:
* The number of motorcyclists to the general public and to politicians.
* That motorcyclists are from all occupations and all walks of life.
* That motorcyclists can reduce traffic and parking congestion in large cities.
* That motorcycles are for transportation as well as recreation.
* That motorcycling is a social good.

DRIVE TO SCOOTZ directly after work! Let's talk about how many two wheeled riders we saw today.

I'll plan on hanging from 6:00-ish to 8:00-ish so swing by when you can.

Just bumping it.

Our "Ride To Work" celebration is after work. There are no municipalities participating or encouraging us.

Just go and do it!
