Well I can't top the jello mold pictures. But it's my first entry after finally getting Vera.
Scooter at work: 4pts
Copier: 4pts
Water Cooler: 3pts
Office Telephone: 2pts
Yellow Highlighter: --
Whiteout Correction Tape: --
Pink Jesus: Priceless
total: 13pts
Yeah I had to include Pink Jesus as he is just phenomenal. He is like a magic eight ball. You ask him a question and turn him upside down to see the answer. Anyhow onto the pict...
And here is Vera in front of my desk at work. You can see Pink Jesus where he normally stands on my desk awaiting those that seek answers (look above the topcase).

I am astounded by the number of Buddyists who brought their scoots into their offices. How is this even possible? Props!
If I was at my old school I could have done it, but there's no freight elevator in my current building

OK. Took a while and there WILL be some technicalities here. I'm again tossing myself like a rag-doll on the mercy of the judges.
I'm a freelancer and work from home and on-site at many different client offices. Seems like many people like the work that I do, but not enough to let me into their building with Scootle.
The ONE company that would - and they have water cooler, copier, adding machine, jello dispenser and lots of staplers - is on the second floor of a building that has been grandfathered into not having to meet ADA requirements. Which means no elevator. I thought about parking across the street and taking a photo from in the office - which now I feel like a dummy because that would have worked perfectly - but I didn't do it.
SO here are shots in front of my house and main place of employment.
+4 for the photo in front of work
+1 for yellow highlighter
+5 for the jello and stapler (it was getting late and the jello had only partly set-up, but it's getting harder by the second)
+4 (this is the mercy part) for the 1930s typewriter AKA my copying machine. I use carbon paper and type stuff longhand.
I tossed in some post-it notes and my vanity plate to soften the judges' demeanor.
If they are nice, I've got 14 points. If not so nice, 10 points for the week.
I await their opinion. I also think KING Lamont is the best person in the world and is doing a fantastic job. Love the ideas and the challenge of it all. Can't wait for tomorrow's assignment.
**Also first time posting from photos hosted elsewhere. Hope this works.

I still think you're a scavenger hunt god.ScootLemont wrote:look... I dinked a guy for having a orange highlighter and not a yellow....
so the typewriter isnt a copier but its a great pic!
I will give you the jello mold points... even though its not quite a mold yet..
10pts
Thanks for playing
And I almost grabbed the GREEN hilighter by mistake and remembered how you dinged the orange one. So I knew the typewriter was a stretch.
By the way, the story (STOP YAWNING) behind the typewriter is that I bought it with my first advance check for my first book.
Now I keep it as a reminder that if I don't keep working (and spend each day scooting as I've been doing) I might have to sell all my toys and start working on that typewriter again. Actually I just thought it was awesome.
Found it at a garage sale for $5. Spent $65 to get it tuned up by a typewriter guy. Seriously. Oiled and made sure everything was back to working order. I can actually use it...except the USB port doesn't seem to work and the Wifi signal is really really weak.

I had no class today (woo hoo I have an A and didn't have to go in for the final) So you get pictures of my scooter in our slightly white trash chic backyard as I work from home as well.
Paper shredder, adding machine and stapler in a jello mold
edit, i forgot the 4 original points so its 13 points

Well, this week was insanely busy and I ran out of time for the stapler-jello fiasco. So here's my sadly prop-free contribution.

There are rumored prizes. I just like playing. It's so cool to have a project instead of just pretending that I have to go get something on the scoot.brape wrote:wait there are prizes now?sotied wrote:Hope we have to get our scooter with the moon so I can be first. I live across the street from a store, where the owner is a family friend. I went in last night right before they closed (when i got home) and asked hiim if he had an adding machine I could borrow for 5 mintues. Yeah try explaining that onesotied wrote:There are rumored prizes. I just like playing.
