Yeah I got her by the tail... Ted E. Bear was scaring the heck out of her. That at least kept her there long enough for the wife to snap a shot. What you didn't see was me pulling my wife's hair to get her to take the picture. What can I say, the women in my house like it rough.

We also witnessed a bizarre case of bee on fried chicken action. A still picture really doesn't do justice to how hard this bee was working over this piece of chicken, in a very adult way, but it was super interesting.

I'm trying to work out getting mine tomorrow but the teddy bear is being a problem....the one I want to use is 45 minutes away on the scoot and it's 100+ out here right now. yeah I'm being a sissy.

I will, at very least, get a pic-a-nic picture, but I may or may not be able to include the awesome teddy bear.

tomorrow...tomorrow I will get it and get it uploaded before time runs out.

Wow, thanks!

I was hoping to get out to a national recreation area, but the nearest one is 60 miles away ... and when our town got hit with the 94+ mph winds on Monday at 6 a.m., well, that kind of changed plans. I just got power back late last night and internet a few minutes ago. Boil order and all that. My poor scooter's been sitting in the garage for three days while I've been clearing downed trees all up and down the street. What a mess.

On the upside, I now have another 4-stroke air-cooled engine in the garage to keep Buddy company.

Hey BiscuitHead - you didnt, by chance, ride into Lemont on Monday or Tuesday?
I was riding out over the Lemont Rd bridge & there was a scoot heading into town that looked like a blur - but I was going 45mph north & he was going 45mph south so I didnt get a good look.

Yeah, I'm not sure what happened there... my wife took three pics and that was the "good" one.

But I'm confused by the C3's are the best. They're utility is kinda cool. But damn are they slow. When I was scooter shoping, I was considering 50cc scooters until I rode a C3. I wanted to to start kicking Flintstone style to get it moving. Anyway... my Dad loves his.

Racenut, your son is adorable...I love the matching plaid shirts and the *why are you making me do this* sneer. Love it! And pimping your dad is a nice touch.

Well, actually the utility kinda sucks too. The underseat storage is big, but shallow, and they don't make a rack for it because the whole thing opens, not just the seat... I said they "rule" because I love their looks. I have mentioned it SEVERAL times, they should make a 150 version, where you can actually fit a helmet under the seat... of course they'd have to make a few structural changes to make the current C3 be able to handle 60+ mph.

The top pic is how it is now and the bottom I think would be cool if you had a rack, and the area under the rack could still be used to cram stuff in there, you just wouldn't be able to open it. Wow, sorry to get so far off topic...

10 points for my first effort!! :D

I too have a large (and in charge) mountain lion ON the picnic table, my "scoota-sista" Stacy is eating the ice cream, and I've got the hot dog - and the old dog begging for the hot dog. And a bag of frozen blueberries chillin' on the table for dessert.

It's possible that I did on Monday, but I don't think so. At least not that I can remember. I do go out that way every once in a while.

Even somehow got the dog to look at the camera. I took this solo with my phone taped to a bar next to my house using a 10 second timer :)

I'm a little sad that I wasn't able to get back down to this park to get pictures with the teddy bears.

ok, anyway, no teddy bear
Here is my picture:

I am eating fresh blue berries from a mixed berry fruit salad from Central Market. yum yum.

Unfortunately the city has steep curbs and I was unable to get the scoot up on the curb and into the park.....there are signs posted all over about how motorized vehicles aren't allowed up there anyway, so this is probably for the best. I got as close as I could and still include the grill (which is cemented into the earth).

I have one other pic if that one isn't "good enough".

Look closer bunny, he photoshopped a face onto his helmet shield so he could still play scavenger with us.

I've been watching Burn Notice and Without a Trace on USA and I contend that Syd is in Witsec but has a penchant for scooters and couldn't stay away from the game.
