front lower lights unplugged

After successfully adjusting my seat latch cable I noticed the two front lower light harnesses were unplugged. Is this normal? I've never really noticed them. Are they supposed to be plugged in, if so where? Thanks.

Those lights are refered to as deadlights. When the scoots are manufactured (by PGO), those are the original blinkers. When they are imported over here by Genuine, those blinkers do not meet DOT standards. The blinkers on the handelbars are added to meet those standards and the stock blinkers are left unplugged. If your handy you can wire the deadlights to run with with DOT blinkers or turn them into running lights. Or if you prefer, you can have me do most of the work for you.........
