Sikken--when you get your scooter, get in touch with Krustyburger. She's getting a Florida scoot group together. If you're close by, hit the road with them (check out the "rides" forum).
This is so easily my favorite thread on MB! Great to see everyone!

I figure, I should explain myself a little more.. seeing as how posting an animated photo of me eating cheetos does not explain very much.
My name is Jay.
I am a computer aided drafter/ 3d modeler for a large company in the Chicago Burbs.
I am very impatient, so instead of purchasing a buddy, (which required a wait) I got a Schwinn Sport LX (Otherwise know as a chinese death machine). I love her.
Here is a picture of me with Terry, parked on starbucks patio...
Here is why I hate my cage.
And here is me not doing anything dumb, except for being on the right.

So glad to see this thread bumped up again. I love getting to see photos of everyone. I was going to bump this one and the other one so now I will just go hunt up the other thread.
This is me, the scooter girls, and the motorcycle man. Oh, I am the least attractive one.
Now if I could remember how to resize photos. . .

I'm Alix. I'm attempting to make a living writing, which is another passion I have aside from scooting. Right now, I'm paid to blog for two websites, and I blog for free on my own. I also earn a little income as a blogger talent scout for a website. The plan is to earn enough income to support myself so that I can write a book about the 22k mile ride I just finished.

If you couldn't figure my name out from my username, it's Becky My boyfriend Sean directed me to this site and convinced me to buy a Buddy! He is username armacham.
I am going to college for Visual Communications/Graphic Design/Illustration and working at an independent retail store. Sean is a temp right now while he waits to hear back on med school apps.
I enjoy hiking
I'm actually going hunting for edible mushrooms with some friends in a couple hours
Traveling is my passion and I indulge myself annually in an exotic vacation. This last summer it was Peru!
Everyone said I should dye my hair because blondes get harassed. It was supposed to be brown, but came out really red. I still got groped a couple times. (In spite of that it was an amazing trip)
We have been swing dancing for about a year now. It's a blast!
We've been together almost two years and just moved in and got a kitten. Sean named her Starbuck.
awwww

hi all, finally getting around to posting here on the forum so i figured i would introduce myself-
i'm michael, i live in providence, rhode island and ride scooty to work in massachusetts about 22 miles each way. i used to ride my bicycle to work but i got sideswiped one wintery morning and my knee hasn't been the same since.
so here are some pictures!
this photo was taken 2 years to the day today! 9/2/06, a few days after i got scooty. as of today 9/2/08 i have ridden 11,738 miles! it probably would have been more but i wasn't able to ride for about 6-7 months for various reasons. still not too shabby for a 50cc!
this is me with my newphew ian and my sister, ian's mom.
in the redwoods
somewhere in canada(the icefields parkway if i am not mistaken) enroute to fairbanks, alaska. my girlfriend said she wanted to visit her uncle in fairbanks. so we spent the month of may 2007 driving from providence to fairbanks and then down the west coast to san francisco and back east again. we had lots of places to stay due to friends we had made on another forum that we frequent. it was an amazing trip. i did miss scooty while we were away though!
and last but not least, my pal, a.b.

If you live in Maine and you truly want to go the side car route you might want to look into one of these. Look for a used one 2003 and newer.
http://www.imz-ural.com/patrol/
They work well in both snow and mud. They go anywhere, just not fast, but faster than a loaded down Stella.

I'm Jake. I'm 22, living is WI, and restarting college this year because I'm sick of waiting tables. I like playing guitar, cycling, scooting, traveling, cars and other motorized things, snowboarding, all kinds of good stuff. It seems like people only take pictures of me when I'm drunk, which isn't even that often.
For instance: I'm in my pajamas, that's not my house, that's not my guitar, and I don't know what I was looking at.
I'll add some more pictures as I find them.

I've been on the forum for a few months now, but until recently was too intimidated by the size of this thread to ever open it. Luckily, I am ready for work an hour early!
My real name is not Betsy Q. Bramble, rather that is a fake name I came up with out of nowhere when I started a blog. For no other reason than I think it rules.
I am 24 and I am still stuck in CT from when I went to school here. Originally from Boston. I graduated 2 years ago with a BFA in printmaking (highly employable, right?) and I am currently trying my darndest to get into a grad program and scoot out of here. This summer I quit my more grown up job in art school admissions, and got a job at my local scooter shop! I get restless.
I live with my girlfriend of (almost) 5 years, and our two cats, Moncton and Preston. Just last week, my girlfriend bought a lovingly used Buddy 150, too! She gets the photo cred. Hopefully I will harass her into joining the forum soon.
