Buddy in Lake Erie Loop Endurance Event

Post by jess »

2 Stroke Buzz is running a story about a Buddy ridden in an endurance event. The rider was Phil Waters of Pride of Cleveland Scooters, and covered the Lake Erie Loop -- 650 miles in 12 hours and 13 minutes. The next fastest rider in his 125cc class was 2 hours behind him.

Oh, and Phil did the event on a pink one. w00t!

Very interesting. Thanks for posting.

Sounds like a true test on the reliability of the Buddy!

The LEL left from Wellington, which is about 15 miles SW of me. I might give it a try next year. I haven't been on a ride longe than a little over 100 miles, although I might go on a 300 mile round trip over the 4th weekend.

Phil has a great shop in Cleveland. It definitely has a "feel" to it. If I wasn't so set on getting the LX150, I'd have bought a Stella from him.

Hey, I hope you'll come to POC when the Cannonball arrives on September 16th. I'm totally looking forward to meeting Phil.
