All new gear, and an ominous mileage

Post by shahdhch »

Today I went out and bought myself a new helmet and jacket for riding. Its so nice to feel completely safe. I went into a store to try on helmets and I would definatly recommend getting fitted for one by someone who rides and knows how something should fit. I had been wearing small adult helmet and it was never comfortable. COme to find out I actually wear a childs large. I am very petite and needed something shorter. I also bought a cortech armoured jacket. I lurve it. WHile I was out my odometer turned to 666 which meant the rest of the ride I was singing The Number of the Beast by Iron Maiden, anyway here's some pics of the day.

Whatta pose

On the scoot, I'm a lot more visible than I had been

I <3 scion XB's!

My dad has a 05 special edition sunset yellow xB, we bought it used from a cadilac dealer that had it for months, they said the original owner was a 80 year old guy who used it as a toy for only 5k miles. It had a performace muffler, aftermarket stripe kit, rims, and everything.

The new xB is nice, but the old one is still better. Wish they'd bring it back.

Also, nice gear!

I just noticed the square cube, I got a few of those at a car show. Didnt know what it was for a while and finally found out it's a old guy with wind blowing in his face, you hook it to the car antenna. Funny thing though, the xB doesnt have a antenna for the radio.

It's my fiances car. He loves it. I know the Scion owners seem to be almost obsessed with the vehicle :)

---Hey, my first post wasn't even me. Use your own computer. :P We're not obsessed. We just really, really like them.

Well I like your twist on the Man in Blacks song. "I once shot a man just to watch him die. Then I got distracted and missed it. "
