I will still have plenty of time to jack up my post count eric... dont you worry.

It is another accounting job but it is with a MUCH better company!!! :D

I will actually have a nice office with a window and view... right now at my current/old job... well... you know those rooms in the middle of the building where a normal company would store copiers and servers and files etc... that is where they put us accountants... I would only see the outside a window once or twice a day.

Sadly, this was the office view I left behind not long ago so I could work from home and stare out at my backyard. In the winter, we could see snow on the mountains. Sigh… one of the few things I miss about that place…

You rock, Mikie! But, now your commute will be un-Buddyable, unless you go around Kenmore or, say it ain't so, Renton *shudder*

OR - I was thinking of getting on the list now at DucSea for WHATEVER GENUINE IS OFFERING IN 200cc in 09. That could handle the 520 bridge. Unless it sucks.

Anyway - right on! Congrats.

You, sir, are insane and also my hero.

...and I'm just remembering something you posted about going 70 on the Aurora bridge.

You don't need a MC. I have the feeling you woud take a Big Wheel on the 520, and keep up.

I think this should get me across the bridge to my new job...

Ducati Seattle has this 2009 Monster 696 with only 700 miles on it, that is OTD $8600. If they dont sell it this weekend, I might pick it up on tuesday.

Congrats Mikie!!! You'll be fine on 520 - like I said on an earlier post, just go during rush hour and you'll be lucky to hit 25 mph

Congrats, Mikie!
New jobs are always fun...new people, new scenery, and a new commute! Cool!

I'm so bummed since I got my Buddy that my office is so close (< 5 miles) to my house...when the lease is up, I'm moving it a bit further away! :)

That Ducati looks pretty awesome..but where do you store your stuff? ;) I think you're going to miss the little bucket up front, eh?

I think there's a Bergman out there calling your name....or is it MY name???

That Duck rocks, but you might want to be a little cautious about being in a hurry to take on new debt. Is there some other alternative you can take until you are (reasonably) secure in your new job?

Then I certainly have the oddest garage, or barn in my case, in Vermont. Am now the proud owner of a Ducati GT1000 which I am getting to know extremely slowly and carefully. Incidentally I have no intention of selling the Buddy, it has proven to be an incredibly practical and fun vehicle. The Duc was purchased to be a big toy for this big(in age, not size) boy. The Ducati may end up with more annual miles but the Buddy will remain my primary source of local transportation. As for my neglected Chrysler Pacifica, "sorry you just don't cut it as far as cool or fun, but don't worry, winter is coming."

So sad :( Think "french press". In fact, tell you what - you get yourself one of those babies, pm me, and I'll ship you some incredible coffee to try. Share a little of that around the office and bye-bye Folgers.....
