White Buddy

Post by GrittyTacoman »

Haven't seen anyone point this out yet. Genuine site is now showing the white Buddy as an option. Interesting that they show it with black rear rack and whitewall tires. Wonder if those come standard.

Wow that really is nice, white walls on a white bike are amazing! Remember though, only 500 or so of these are available if the rumors are true. Funny how white is a standard iBuBu color in taiwan.

It's easy to miss that color option on their web site as the white swatch kind of blends in with the background.
I suppose I should be upset, even feel violated, but I'm not. No, in fact, I think this is a friendly message, like "Hey, wanna play?" and yes I want to play. I really really do.

I bet white glossy panels with the St.Tropez interior panels would be sweet.

I dunno about white flat plastic panels... hard to clean + cheesy looking.

Definitely +1 on the seat color.

Ha! I beat them to it. But I added some black for class. Also I have the brown seat and grips on order. Should be here this week. I'll post pictures when it's done. Since this picture was taken I've added the NCY front suspension and a Yss adjustable rear shock.

White is the happening color in scooters this year. Check it. Here is a pic of the new Piaggio Carnaby Cruiser.

Then check out this Kymco.

Hey djelliott I have been thinking about painting my wheels too. How are yours holding up? How long ago did you paint them?

I have a couple cans of Dupil-Color wheel coating, but i have not worked up the courage to do it yet.

They're holding up well. I painted them in December. I use a testors paint marker to do touch ups when needed.
