WKRP 2009 XYL Rally
April 4, 2009
65 mile ride around Cincinnati Westside/ Northside. Started at Metro Scooter, then stops at the Best Damn Bar In Town and Fernald Preserve. Ended with a cookout at Northside Tavern. And best of all, as can be seen around 2:28, I rode with ScooterDave!

Great show kschulz, very slick.
I know I've been on at least 2 rides with you, soon I'll have to put a name to a face.
Here's a link to my pictures.

I'm a noob on the scooter scene here and was hoping to meet more MB members at the rally, but there were so many faces it was hard to make the connections. I did have the pleasure of meeting toddrw2251 (Rusty) at the Fernald stop and rode with him most of the third leg.

Kschulz it was nice meeting and riding with you on Saturday. Here are my pictures from the day. Unfortunately I didn't take too many shots and I had to leave early on Saturday. I hate it when work gets in the way of life.

I think I only have about 10 yrs over you, but didn't get the chance to meet you on Saturday. For someone as active as yourself on MB you need to get a photo up in the "Who am I in real life" thread.jfrost2 wrote:I took some photos too, I was there for Friday and Saturday.
I was surprised of the ruckus modders and the italijet dragsters. I also met lobsterman here on modernbuddy in person.
Was funny to see everyone is 40-50 years older than me.

I saw you too with your bengals buddy and black mirrors. I'm a bit shy so I dont just approach people.
The only people I really talked to were Dave, Seth, an old couple riding a honda reflex clone, these 2 older guys who rode TGB lasers, oh and lobsterman.
I became very annoyed of this woman continually asking us if we owned a white sedan illegally parked in the corner of the lot. She asked us once, then comes back 2 more times asking again saying "Are you 100% sure that isnt you guy's car?"
I also saw lagerhead's bike at the comet on friday, but no one was around it at the time.

Thanks for including me, Rusty - www.flickr.com/photos/russellmania/3417750969/ - I have no idea what I'm doing way out there. Must be making one helluva big turn.
jfrost - I introduced myself to you and your dad when your were standing talking to lobsterman. I didn't put two and two together until later in the afternoon. Good to meet you, though.
Would've been fun to meet more MBers but there were just too many people to try to get us all together for a photo.

Very cool Lagerhead. I love it when Seth pulls up beside you in the beginning. Almost looks like he's groovin to the music
You have a nice setup - of the POV vids I've seen I like the helmet side-mount the best. It gives a nice perspective when you can see the front of the scooter, and makes it more interesting with the head swivels. Would love to see more.

Ah so we were the ones talking to you! I saw you pull in because I recognized your checkered front of the bike, but I didnt know the person I talked to was the same one hopping off the bike!SteMer wrote:Thanks for including me, Rusty - www.flickr.com/photos/russellmania/3417750969/ - I have no idea what I'm doing way out there.
