Scooter Related Holiday Gifts..."Whatcha Getting?"

Post by Cpequin »

So maybe it's early, but I got a Christmas bonus, and not dating anyone or having kids, I ordered and got my present early. I got to wear it to work for one day, and then RAIN in Phoenix....go figure!

I was wondering what is on my scooter peeps' wish lists, or if like me, you got your presents early and are breaking them in!

By the way, I absolutely love my new helmet! I don't think it's overkill; I have a fairly long daily commute, and I choice this model for the emergency cheek pad removal tabs, and the excellent ventilation at the proper scooter riding angle. It's very quiet, (don't need earplugs), and the visor is distortion free. The quick release system is easy to swap out the second visor I bought (smoke)

Woo-eee that's a nice lookin helmet! Been thinking about one since experiencing the loud, uncomfortable and leaky-screen HJC full face bucket I bought a couple months ago. Shouldn't have gone cheap...

How's it perform?

I have some kit for the upcoming Amerivespa-via-Mexico trip this summer:

-Saddlebags

-Universal removable top case http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Detacha ... 8TR9LKKJTF

- Kolpin Fuel Pack Jr. A mountable jerry can that should fit just nicely behind the legshield http://www.amazon.com/Kolpin-Fuel-Pack- ... 4IB52LIJ2S

-Camelback backpack

-SanDisk Sansa Clip MP3 player (because I don't want to drain the phone listening to tunes while riding. There's lots of boring open road in Mexico). It's about the size of an iPod Nano (with the clip) and comes with a display. What more do you need?

I probably won't get all of the kit for Christmas, but it's all quite affordable and will go well with the planned trip.
