NJ motor vehicle registration

I went to NJ DMV to register my new buddy 125 and they said that i couldn't register or get my title/plates b/c the company that makes these scooters is not approved in nj. Need help!!!

i'm in morris county. went to randolph and morristown. been there 3 times already. they still can't get it straight. i gave them the paperwork and told them to look it up by motive power. they said they need to do an investigation w/ trenton. was there for 2 hours. and still not resolved! motor vehicles = 3 ; me=0
