It's not a buddy, but I'm guessing that someone out there knows what this is. It has 2 hoses connected at the front and 2 unconnected tubes coming out the back.
Is it my Flux Capacitor?

Damn, I was rooting for Flux Capacitor. But then again, I could never reach the required 88 mph!hairball wrote:Winner!babblefish wrote:If one of the hoses is going to the air filter and the other to the gas tank, I'd say it is a charcoal canister for capturing gasoline vapors. Essentially, part of the emissions equipment.

The fetzer valve is easily made workable again by soaking in relative bearing wash for about 30 minutes. Saves a lot of money over replacement.toddrw2251 wrote:I am pretty sure that houses the fetzer valve. It looks stuck. I'm going to need some 30 weight ball bearings and a quart of Prestone Antifreeze....no make that Quakerstate.
