The Buddy/PGO key is the same as ... what? Going to copy key

Post by pyrocpu »

What does the Buddy/PGO key match up with, in the car world?

I wanted to make a copy or two of my key at Home Depot this weekend, but not sure which auto manufacturer would most closely match it.

I don't remeber but its posted here somewhere. I remember reading about someone that went through a handfull of keys at Home Depot before finding a match.

You can order blank PGO keys online. But, I don't remember where that post is either :(

You won't find one (at least I couldn't). I went to a lock specialist wondering the same thing and despite all their efforts they could not find one that worked.

Best/easiest thing you can do is order a blank from a dealer (maybe order from Scooterworks?) and then take it to a locksmith with your key. I got my blank from NoHo Scooters.
