I live in a state that only mandates helmets for those under age 18, but I'm an kinda guy who favors full-face, modular helmets. I took to heart the study showing where most people's heads hit the ground in wrecks. Of course, I've only been riding motorcycles/scooters since 1967, so what do I know?
