Braided brake lines.

Post by PIStaker »

Was thinking about getting a braided brake line. For performance and the looks.
Have seen on SW's website, this one for the 50cc.

Is it safe to assume 43.3 inches is the same length for the 125? The body size is the same, correct?
Has anyone else ordered a custom length or color?
Also, what angle for the banjo bolts?

IMO, the best way to go is to order the separate components from Goodridge.

I have bought all of my brake line components individually from Phat Performance as I like the ability to piece together the perfect setup.

use the same banjo bolts that are already on your bike. It would look sweet if it was the red red ss cable

bolt and cable color

I was thinking red cable black bolts or vice versa.
Here, you can customize the colors:

the part that you will only see is the cable attached to the caliper, so you don't have to get anything flashy up top if you don't want to

Byrdman, what length did you go with for your custom setup? Stainless comes in 44" or did you go with black?

BTW, did you notice an increase in braking performance?

Thanks.
