engine oil for South Florida weather

I read all over on modern buddy discussion about engine oil, My due for oil change is almost near. It will be 2nd oil change on 1500 mileages on buddy 125.
I see the label on Rottella showed : Shell Rotella T. Triple Protection. 15W-40. or Synthetic 5W-40.
which number should I go for my scooter during all year warm weather South Florida?

You can use a good synthetic 15W-40 from here on out. That's the "standard" option (recommended by Genuine & PGO) and what most owners probably run.

Some knowledgeable folks have recommended running a synthetic 5W-40 as well.

For brands, I like Motul, some prefer Rotella, some like whatever Pep Boys has on sale!
